Panic... Panic... Panic
Right now, I'm simply in a state of panic (as you can read from the title of this post)! It's almost March and I still have nowhere to work for my OJT! It's not that I don't have any choice, I just can't make one. I am facing three scenarios right now.
Number One:
Good Company : SMART
Job Descriptions Sucks : Answer the phone for 2 weeks.. then wait...
OK Schedule : Regular Office Hours... Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
Number Two:
Not so Nice Company : Call Center in Libis Quzon city
Amazing Job Description : Work for HR... Employee and Gov't Relations... this is soooo ORCOM!
Scary Schedule : 2pm to 11pm... mga anong oras na kaya ako makakarating?
Number Three:
Not so Sure about the Company : Travel Agency
OK Job Description : Marketing, Writing for them... Somehow Orcom Related
Ok Schedule (din): Same as Smart
I will really think and pray before I make any decision! I'm giving myself until friday of this week before I make any decision... I hope these companies are still willing to accommodate me!

Due to boredom.. I tried some harry potter sorting quiz. Those that will try to determine what house will you go if you entered hogwarts... I tried two quizzes and got two different results:
Thi first one says I belong to Gryffindor:
be sorted @ nimbo.net
---> I don't quite like this house. Maybe because Harry belongs to this house. It has the "bida" factor with it. Not that I want to be among the antagonists, I just don't like that house...
The second Quiz says I belong to Hufflepuff:
---> Don't like this house as well! LOYAL? DEPENDABLE? HARDWORKING? I'm not so sure about those descriptions! Wahahaha!

I'm an Orcom Major, trying to cope with all the stress life is offering right now. Studying at UP is really stressful, especially when you're surrounded by really good students, and I really mean GOOD. But being in a degree program which is known by a very few number of people is MORE stressful.
"Ano yung orcom?"
"MassComm ba yun?"
"None-quota course yun diba?"
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!
I'm really tired of answering those type of questions, and don't dare to say orGcom in front of me! because it's ORCOM! orGcom is the course in the green school, its ORCOM for us! By the way, this course originated in UP-Manila here in the Philippines, then some "other" school noticed how the degree program produced AMAZING alumni and decided to also offer the course in their school. For the benefit of those people who are really bothered of what Organizational Communication is, well it's "the process of creating and exchanging messages within a network of interdependent relationships to cope with environmental uncertainties." (Goldhaber, 1990)
Enough about my course. I am also a frustrated musician. It has always been my dream to play the harp, the violin, or the saxophone, but I guess they would always remain to be dreams. Most of the time, I'm a jolly person, I don't even think that making friends is very hard at all. (Wow yabang ko! kala mo maraming friends)
